Elevating Mytos

Taking a biotech automation platform from legacy stock graphics to something that does the hardware justice.

Mytos is biotech hardware automation: machines that automate cell culture, backed by a company that has raised $24M. The website was first built in 2021 and still stands today, millions of dollars in funding later.

The original site leaned on legacy, somewhat generic stock graphics. The objective was to take it to its next phase: a landing page that did the actual hardware, and the ambition behind it, justice.

From digital to inspiring

We moved the site away from stock imagery and toward the real thing: custom graphics of the automation process, plus custom video and shots of the machine itself. The aim was to make the page feel less like a digital brochure and more like the piece of engineering it represents.

Bringing the vision to life

We worked closely with the team to bring their vision to life, taking every artifact they had produced, the hardware, the footage, the process, and crafting a landing page that did it justice.

Supported ever since

Built in 2021, the site has held up through years of iterations and raises. We have supported it ever since, evolving the page alongside the company as it has grown and raised more.

Role: Design Partner, covering the landing page, custom graphics, video integration and ongoing iteration.
